Meet Our Team

W. Brian Cathey - President:
As President of the firm, Brian is responsible for the daily operations of the company and serves as Project Manager overseeing construction activities on each project. Brian is responsible for project development and estimating as well.

With over ten years experience in the construction industry, Brian has successfully managed many projects from $30,000 to well over $10 million. He has held a Florida Certified General Contractors license since 2000, and is the qualifying agent for CC&D. He has earned a B.S. degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida and is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree from Florida State University.

W. Al Cathey - Vice President:

As Vice President and co-founder, Al is responsible for assisting in the fiscal functions of the firm as well as providing senior leadership. He has owned and operated several successful businesses in our area and currently manages Cathey's Ace Hardware, which he has owned for over 30 years.

In addition to his business experience, Al has served several terms as Councilman for the City of Mexico Beach. He is currently serving as Mayor, and recently ran unopposed for his second term. He holds a B.S. in Communications / Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi. Al's business experience and strong leadership skills make him an invaluable part of our team.

Kevin Duncan - Project Manager:
Kevin is responsible for project development, subcontractor relations and overall management from initial conception through project completion. He works through the bid process and contract negotiations with Owners and Architects, processes submittals, maintains project schedules and is the first line of support for our Project Superintendents.

Kevin has over 20 years experience in heavy industrial, commercial and residential construction. His extensive background has helped him develop the skills necessary to manage and lead construction projects of nearly any size.  Kevin also has a broad range of construction safety training through OSHA, as well as completing the Site Sense training program. He has also completed the AHA Heartsaver AED and CPR certification program. With this training, he is able to manage effective, safe and productive teams on the job site.

 Kevin Krum - Project Superintendent:
As Project Superintendent, Kevin is responsible for managing the daily tasks on each of his assigned projects. He spends most of his time in the field supervising and directing every aspect of construction from start to finish. His scheduling skills and eye for quality have made all of his projects a success.

During much of his career, Kevin worked as a Carpenter and Framing Superintendent as well as General Superintendent. He has over 35 years experience in the construction industry, and has held supervisory positions with several General Contractors performing both commercial and residential projects.

Michael Henderson - Project Superintendent:

As Project Superintendent, Mike manages the daily tasks on each of his assigned projects. He spends his time in the field supervising and directing every aspect of construction from start to finish.   Mike has over 20 years experience in industrial, commercial and residential construction. His extensive background has helped him develop the skills necessary to supervise and lead construction projects of nearly any size.

Cecelia Anderson - Office Manager 

As our office manager, Cecelia is responsible for the daily operations of the office as well as maintaining our office systems, filing systems, scheduling, policies and procedures. She has extensive knowledge in office administration and is highly proficient with our computer systems including spreadsheets and word processing programs.

Cecelia grew up in Bay County attending local schools and has a degree in Business Administration. She has over 20 years experience in business administration, working with local law firms and developers focusing on real estate developments, construction, building science and design.
